Proof of Concept → Prototype → Pilot
The POC lifecycle is a structured approach I use to validate ideas, reduce risk, and ensure that solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and ready for real‑world deployment. Each stage builds on the previous one, moving from theoretical validation to production‑ready implementation.
A Proof of Concept is a theoretical demonstration used to confirm that a concept or process is feasible. Its purpose is to validate assumptions, identify technical risks, and uncover potential performance or architectural blockers before investing in full development.
A Prototype is an early, limited‑feature version of the solution. It is used to trial the POC in a more realistic environment and to define the specifications for a fully functional system.
A Pilot is the first production‑ready implementation of the solution. It is deployed in a controlled environment to validate real‑world performance, operational readiness, and user experience.
